We recognize starting something new can feel uncomfortable and uncertain. Here is some key information to help you feel knowledgeable and empowered as you look to make decisions about your well-being.

We believe you should feel whole; worthy, confident and fulfilled. To get there, we need to heal from the experiences that have led us to create unsupportive beliefs, habits and coping mechanisms. We offer a safe, calm and inviting atmosphere that acknowledges and validates where you are and where you want to go from here.

Why Therapy?

In a society that values independence and self-sufficiency, it can be difficult and at times, scary to know when to seek support. However, there is no issue too small; if it is important to you, then it is important to us.

When should I seek therapy?

We offer both online and in-person therapy based on client preference. In-person therapy is available in Ancaster, Ontario and online appointments are available to individuals across Ontario.  Sessions take place using Owl Practice an encrypted, Canadian-based, PHIPA compliant communication platform designed specifically for therapists.

This isn’t a decision you need to make alone. Book a free 15 minute consultation with Melissa and she can help assess your challenges and the best path to start.

Should I book individual, couples or parent sessions?

The first session is an important chance for client and therapist to get to know one another and start building a strong relationship. This can look like setting therapeutic goals, doing an intake of the important information that makes you you, and creating space for you to begin where you want to.
